A garden suburb next door
Merton Park is one of south London's earliest planned garden suburbs, laid out by the developer John Innes in the late 1800s. Much of it is now a conservation area, with tree-lined roads, John Innes Park and the old church of St Mary the Virgin. It sits directly north of Martin Way, where our office is, so it's barely a few minutes' drive for us.
School runs
Merton Park has several schools, including Rutlish School, and many families nearby have children at schools across Merton and Wimbledon. School journeys are one of our most regular bookings here. Every driver holds a TfL private hire licence, which requires an enhanced DBS check. Child seats are available on request. Our school runs page explains how regular bookings work.
Tram stops and the Tube
Merton Park has its own Tramlink stop, with trams to Wimbledon and Croydon, and Morden Road tram stop is close by. For the Tube, Morden and South Wimbledon stations are both a short drive away. On wet mornings, those short station runs are a common booking.
Quick pickups, any time
Because we're so close, Merton Park is the easiest area for us to cover at short notice, whether it's a last-minute GP appointment, a lift home with the shopping or a trip to the vet with the dog.
