A change you can skip

To reach Victoria from Morden by Tube, you'd take the Northern line to Stockwell and change to the Victoria line. It's quick enough with a light bag, but the change at Stockwell means stairs and crowds. With a suitcase for a coach trip or a train to the coast, a car from your door is much easier. Victoria is about 8 miles away, usually 30 to 45 minutes by car.

If you're planning to go into Victoria for the Gatwick Express, think again. From Morden, Gatwick is south, not north. A direct car to Gatwick goes straight down the A217 and is usually quicker, with no changes.
