When a car beats the Tube
If you're travelling light to Waterloo or London Bridge, the Northern line is hard to beat. A car makes more sense when:
- you have suitcases, a buggy or someone who finds stairs difficult
- you're going to Victoria or Paddington, which need changes
- you're arriving late at night and would rather go straight to your door
- there are three or four of you, when a car compares well with separate fares
The Congestion Charge
Waterloo, Victoria, Charing Cross, London Bridge and the stations around Euston Road are inside or on the edge of the Congestion Charge zone. Paddington is outside it. Ask us how this affects your fare when you book.
Don't miss your train
For a train with a fixed departure, especially the Eurostar or a long-distance service, tell us your departure time and we'll suggest a pickup time that allows for London traffic.
