Around the roundabout
Rosehill takes its name from the Rose Hill roundabout, where the A217 meets the roads to St Helier, Sutton and Carshalton. Around it is a parade of local shops, and beyond that the residential streets of St Helier and north Sutton. Because the A217 runs straight through, it's one of the easiest places in our area to start a journey heading south.
Rosehill Park
Rosehill Park is a large green space on the Sutton side of the roundabout, with sports pitches and open grass, popular with families and dog walkers. If you're heading there with the dog, our pet-friendly taxis are happy to help.
Close to the hospitals
Rosehill is a short drive from St Helier Hospital on Wrythe Lane, and it's on the way to the Royal Marsden in Sutton. We take patients and visitors to both, and a wait-and-return booking means your driver can wait during your appointment.
Straight down the A217
From Rosehill, the A217 heads south through Sutton towards the M25. That makes Gatwick an easy run, usually well under an hour. For Heathrow, allow 40 to 55 minutes. Book with your flight number, and we'll meet you in arrivals when you return.
