Two Wimbledons in one
Wimbledon is really two places. Down the hill is the town centre, built around Wimbledon station, the Centre Court shopping centre and The Broadway, with the New Wimbledon Theatre. Up the hill is Wimbledon Village, with its boutiques, restaurants and the edge of Wimbledon Common. The hill between them is steep, and it's one of the most common short journeys we're asked for.
From our office on Martin Way, Wimbledon town centre is about two miles away, usually 8 to 12 minutes by car.
Wimbledon station
Wimbledon is one of south-west London's big interchanges, with South Western Railway trains to Waterloo, the District line, Thameslink and the Tramlink. That makes it a common pickup point after late trains, and a good place to be dropped if you're catching a fast train into London. Tell us which entrance you'd like, and we'll meet you there.
The Championships
For two weeks every summer, the tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to SW19. Roads around Church Road and Wimbledon Park are closed or restricted, and traffic across the area slows down.
- Book early. Demand for cars is very high during the fortnight.
- Agree a pickup point outside the restricted zone. Our team will suggest one when you book.
- Allow extra time for any Wimbledon journey during the Championships, even ones that aren't going to the tennis.

Flying from Wimbledon
